Welcome to JP Farm & Ranch

JP Farm and Ranch is owned and operated by John and Tessa Palczewski along with their three children, Isabelle, Jace, and Sam. The farm has been a three-generation operation beginning with John’s grandpa, Richard Palczewski who purchased the land after he returned home from WWII in December of 1945. Dale Palczewski, John’s father, took over the farm from 1987 until 2011 at which time John and Tessa moved home and began the process of fully taking over the operation. Dale and Merlene still live in the original house built by Richard Palczewski while John and Tessa have their home just NW of the place. Thankful for this opportunity to follow his dream, John and Tessa hope to someday pass on the legacy to the next generation.

CONSISTENCY = PROFITABILITY

JP Farm and Ranch grew their herd with sound genetics through replacement heifers that were hand-selected from one producer starting in 2011. Aiming for cows that will continue to breed back, calve without issues and raise a solid calf year after year, JP Farm and Ranch has put together a solid herd of maternal power. Paired with Hereford bulls, these cows have produced outstanding replacement heifers. JP Farm and Ranch became GAP certified in 2015 and have held that certificate to date. Sheep have played an integral role in the longevity of this operation. With an emphasis on Rambouillet and Targhee ewes, there is no question the ewe lambs will make high quality replacements but also these lambs will have pounds come sale time.
